The story behind the brand
The CamelBak story is born from the most basic human need: thirst.
It all began when cyclist Michael Eidson, facing dehydration in a race, improvised a hands-free hydration system using an IV bag in a tube sock.
Inspired by this, cyclist Jeff Wemmer started selling CamelBak packs at races and later joined the company. Through challenges and a motorcycle-driven sales effort, Camelbak® evolved from its humble beginnings to become a household name, leading the world in hydration solutions with a commitment to courage, conviction, and innovation.
